Migration, remittances and climate resilience in Tajikistan

This working paper explores key tendencies related to socioeconomic development and how migration and remittances contribute to these dynamics in Tajikistan. The analysis looks at possible ways of mainstreaming climate adaptation into current socioeconomic development strategies and programmes, including those targeting migration and remittances. It also examines how health, education and financial aspects can act as potential drivers towards using remittances to build climate-resilience.
