Senegal: Country situation assessment


This report analyses the context of Senegal’s economic development by focusing on climate change and its impact on socioeconomic development, and on key sectors such as agriculture, livestock, fisheries and tourism.

Taking stock of economic performance and under-performance in Senegal, links between climate characteristics and development, and the political implications for adaptation, the report offers policymakers and practitioners guidelines and recommendations about how to better integrate climate change into development policies and plans, with a view to strengthening adaptation and resilience.
