Henry W. Wyes

Henry W. Wyes is Deputy Executive Director of the Central Asian Regional Environment Centre (CAREC). With more than 30 years’ work experience, including with the World Health Organization and United Nations Environment Programme, he has coordinated and implemented projects focused on environment management, climate change, energy and low-carbon development, water management, biodiversity, finance and investments, and health.

At present, he gives lectures on water resource management and the environment at the German-Kazakh University (DKU). In the PRISE project, he is focusing on Tajikistan with a particular contribution to economic development, finance and markets.
